As HR Manager I have shared responsibility for managing the HR functions operationally on daily basis, ensuring that the core company, INGO and departmental business objectives are meet though supporting and influencing departmental managers and supporting and advising the HR Team consisting of 17 colleagues covering 3 project location and HQ in Islamabad. My responsibility covers coaching team members in all 3 project locations ensuring that HR delivers excellent support to all staff hereunder developing new policies and procedures to ensure legal compliance as well as for smooth running operations.
Further I am responsible for the Country HR Database Homere (HR Software) Management and staff capacity development on this system. Being Pakistan mission referent (EPREP - Emergency Preparedness) hereunder ensures updates on EPREP planning, kits and being the focal point for emergency interventions across country. In case of emergencies I am responsible for opening of new projects with major duties of HR needs identification, staff recruitment, contracts preparation, salaries, briefings, office arrangements, accommodation setup, implementation of all the policies & dissemination of all MSF regulations. I am consultative partner for the management team with regards to all HR issues hereunder coaching and giving legal advice with regards to employee relations, follow up on the annual performance review, HR budget revision, recruitment and management of disciplinary actions. I very much enjoy working as HR manager in an international setting, ensuring cultural awareness and co-operation.

Latest achievements:
•Lead the revision of a new Leaves policy, Revision of existing Internal regulations with the Legal referent from Paris and local lawyer for three MSF sections, Recruitment Policy, SOPs for Disciplinary procedures, Review of Function grids for all positions and salary scales with technical referent in Sweden, Implementation of the medical and hardship allowances in the projects with consultation of HQ, Relocation policy, and implementation of the new reporting system for HR statistics. Involvement of staff as well as ensuring the legal foundation was a key to the success.
•Planning and leading a workshop teaching all HR managers as well as HR staff to be fully functional in the HR database (Homere). The workshop and continues support has led to that Pakistan Mission is among the top three courtiers of MSF globally looking at the quality, reports, timely data management and compliance.
•Lead the HR budget compiling and consolidation & annual review of operations (ARO) in terms of budget and HR planning 2017.

•Being Country Homere Technical Referent (HR Management Software) responsible for keeping the payroll calculation, salary scales, function scales updated, generating reports for mission, repairing/maintenance of database, providing regular feedbacks to fields, HR budget, monthly budget follow up, salaries preparation, mission timely reception/closing of Homere and sending to Head Quarter.
•Preparation of staff contracts, disciplinary procedures, staff evaluations follow up, electronic and hard files management.
•Recruit and supervisor the watchmen team and Incharge for their management.
•Incharge for update of online EOBI profile for the staff data and ensures the provision of EOBI cards to all staff.
•Is the first-line technical referent supporting field teams for national staff administration (Internal regulations, policies, rules, procedures, etc.)
•Team management, supervision of Admin officer and domestic staff in the project location.
•Preparation of end of contracts final settlements, work certificates, recommendation/transfer letters for the staff.
•Revision of policies like recruitment, medical, housing, MSF internal regulations along with the HR Coordinator.
•Responsible for national/international trainings follow up & arrangements
•Networking with external partners/MSF sections needed for the good administrative and HR functioning.
•Being Pakistan mission EPREP referent, updates EPREP list, kits and acts as a focal point in case of any emergency within the areas of interventions within the country.
•Keep contact with the Lawyer for legal issues and be updated by the country’s Labour law.
•In-charge of updating the dependents list & share with the medical department. Ensure that the medical policy is followed by all the staff in Coordination Office & Field Projects.
•Promote the team spirit among the National and International staff by means of individual and general staff meetings.

Main achievements:
•Provided back up for Deputy HRCO, Flying HR or Field HR Managers in case of need. Successfully supervised the team of 35 Watchmen team for four years.
