Reporting to the Business Solutions Division Director, as the Business Head of Al Kifah Travel, my role is to turn-around the financial performance of the business operation through strategic planning and execution. Worked closely with the board and the corporate leadership team, to strategically affect direction of operations.

Responsible for account management across the full sales cycle (identification, acquisition, implementation, development, and retention) for the identified line of business.
Develop revenue objectives and KPIs in conjunction with key stakeholders.
Work with internal departments to develop systems/reports to add value to effective business management for each division.
Identify and implement cost containment and business improvement initiatives through the continual review and analysis of operational practices and processes, and identifying more efficient, practical and productive processes and procedures.

Key achievements
Spearheaded products diversification to achieve 10% increase in revenue
Achieved up to 90% recovery of bad debts through aggressive collection process and policies.
Increased business profits up to 10% by streamlining processes, workforce and outsourcing services.
Developed an e-commerce portal for B2B & B2C segments
Implemented the corporate travel management program for the 12, 000 employees

Division Head at Almulla Group of Companies

Almulla Group is an Emirati business family group, in operation since 1971 leading the region in manufacturing, trade, transport, retail and real estate. Reporting to the Group CEO, my primary objective is the launch of a new division of travel & tourism business vertical.

Represent the business in high level negotiations, evaluating opportunities in line with the group business strategy.
Conduct regular benchmarking of DMC competitors (both locally and internationally) in order to identify and recommend industry best practice improvements to safety, resource utilization, systems, processes and standards.
Negotiate and contract favorable terms with key trade and IT vendors.
Plan, direct and manage all aspects of the day-to-day operations, ensuring the highest levels of service delivery are provided, whilst effectively managing cost.

Launched Almulla Tourism, the travel division of Almulla Group.
