Multinational group of companies.
Group of 3 operating entities (two SAL and one OFFSHORE) with more than 160 full time employee and over than 500 interviewers.
Leader in the Lebanese and in the Mena Region; The companies main activities consist in the survey and opinion poll studies, market research and customer satisfaction studies, advertising tracking, media monitoring services and people metrical TV audience system.
The main responsibilities includes but not limited to:
1. Restructuring the Accounting and Finance department;
2. Monitoring the implementation and maintenance of accounting control procedures for the new accounting system: JD Edwards;
3. Preparing, examining and analyzing accounting records, financial statements and other financial reports;
4. Adjusting, solving accounting discrepancies and irregularities, recommending, developing, and maintaining solutions to business and financial problems;
5. Preparing financial reports for financial analysis, P&L, balance sheet, debtors, creditors, cash-flows, and results analysis;
6. Developing and analyzing budgets and forecasts;
7. Monitoring and analyzing monthly, quarterly and yearly operating results against budget;
8. Preparing all financial reports to meet the deadlines (monthly, quarterly, and year end closing reports);
9. Audit preparation and coordination with the external auditors;
10. Responsible for the preparation of VAT, the income tax on salary as well as the end of year official tax return;
11. Responsible for the preparation, supervision and control of the payroll and all related tasks NSSF and Ministry of Finance obligations;
12. Monitoring and supporting the company taxation issues, and ensuring compliance with local, legal and tax requirements;
13. Cash Management;
14. Coordinating with department managers and corporate staff to develop business plans for the companies;
15. Ensure compliance with professional, legislative and internal regulatory requirements at all times.
