• Working as a Senior shift technician in Electrical and Automation maintenance Department at Emirates Steel Industries, Abu Dhabi.
• Currently working in shift for EAF, LRF, CCM, Oxygen Plant, FTP and Material Handling.
• Planning Preventive Maintenance to improve Plant availability.
• Calibration and Maintenance of instruments, control valves, Transmitters.
• Equipments handled for calibration are Multimeter, Decade Resistance box, Hart communicator,
Pressure calibrator, Dead Weight Tester and others.
• Preparation of instrument list, Input and Output list, Drawings.
• Maintenance &Troubleshooting of Drives, MCC Panels, Starter (DOL and STAR DELTA), Soft Starters, Motors.
• Maintenance and Troubleshooting of PLCs as well as modification as per requirement.
• Prepare trouble report if major breakdown happens.
• Prepare suggestion for improvement of equipment.
• Capable to execute the work in live areas with safety parameters, having ability to work in confined spaces.
• Check the daily log sheet and take immediate actions if abnormalities noticed.
• Erection, Commissioning & testing of LT panels, Transformers, VFD, Soft Starters and Field Instruments related to Electric Arc Furnace etc.
• Looking after the Construction power supply, Cable tray erection, Cable laying, glanding & termination.
• Commissioning and maintenance of Instruments related to Electric Arc Furnace and its material handling system, etc.
• Repair/Operate Chillers, Water pumps, Fire Pumps, Generators, Hydraulic, Pneumatic, Programmable Logic Controller (PLC), Circuit Controller, Substation controls, Switchgear, (ATS)Auto Transfer switch and electromechanical works on commissioning and pre-commissioning basis.
• Handled safety requirement and check all safety permits like (PTW) Permit to Checked, man power overtime and made report.
• High Pot Testing, Meggering the cable.
• Responsible for erection, testing, commissioning, routine maintenance and fault finding of MCC, PCC, motorized vibro feeder, belt conveyors.
• Preventive and Predictive maintenance of AC motors.
• Worked with Instruments like Pressure Transmitter, Flow Transmitter, Temperature Transmitter, Flow Switch, Level Transmitter, Level switch, Pressure Switch, Proximities, limit switches, Zero Speed Switch, Pull cord, Belt Sway etc.
• Basic understanding of ladder logic.
• Contingencies planning for major planned / forced shutdowns and its execution
• Responsible for executing cable tray erection, panel unloading and erection, cable laying (HT, LT, CONTROL, SIGNAL) as per given schedule, termination in accordance with the approved drawing and its logical understanding. As per given schedule, termination and commissioning of electrical Equipments in accordance with the approved drawing and its logical understanding.
• Understand the overall plan, design, and drawings, coordinate & implement various related
Activities within the time & cost parameters.
• Supervision of entire project for erection, testing and commissioning.
• Precede work with safety and precautions on site and ensure that it is followed in a professional manner.
• Control, Co-ordinate & monitor with the sub-contractors.
• Preparation of daily report and report to the construction manager. .
• Supervise the job in lighting system, BMS system, Fire alarm system, Lightning Arrester and Grounding system,
• Cable pulling, installation of cable tray, installation of lighting fixtures, fire alarm devices and installation of BMS field devices, road lighting and high mast.
• Accountable for studying and analyzing the approved drawings in a detailed manner and having discussions with senior engineers regarding doubts even if any.
• Identifying critical issues related to site activities and ensure timely resolution of queries so as to ascertain uninterrupted construction works
• Anchoring and co-coordinating on-site activities to ensure smooth work progress, conceptualizing and implementing measures for enhancing operational efficiency and optimizing resource utilization.
