Role:
• Inspecting facilities, assessing and reporting on compliance to the environmental permits and taking appropriate actions for improving the environmental performance
• Preparing project safety plan, risk assessments, emergency evacuation plans, and submitting to client and consultant and getting approval
• Evaluating site safety through Daily Evaluation Process, weekly safety walk down; conducting site inspection with Site Safety Officer and making record of every hazard
• Reporting HSE monthly reports to Corporate Office and coordinating for safety permits such as hot, cold, and confined space works for process plants and construction sites as per client's requirements and procedures.
• Organizing weekly safety meetings to address arising issues, safety concerns and sub-contractor safety meetings
• Conducting and providing trainings on ES&H, Field Leader, H2S gas hazards and precautionary measures to all the employees; ascertaining training needs, preparing training material and maintaining training database
• Identifying HSE targets and objectives to maintain optimum HSE performance
• Monitoring Construction and Commissioning executive activities and identifying non-conformities; mentoring TWL values during summer season and adopting summer breaks to workers as per local and client’s guidelines
• Conducting audits with EPC Contractor and other entities related to Health, Safety & Environment in construction site; ensuring entire recommendations / changes are implemented by the EPC Contractor
Coordinating for the implementation of HS&E Policies, Safety Management System, Environmental Management systems and Project/location specific Safety Management Plans as they apply to the location.
Ensuring that the site location complies with the relevant Government Occupational and Safety Legislation and respective Owner and EPC Contractor Health, Safety and Environmental Procedures.
Monitoring Construction and Commissioning executive activities and identifying non conformities.
Maintaining knowledge of applicable rules and regulations including government regulations, standards and policies.
Preparing and maintaining HSE reports.
Ensuring health and safety of all employees and their safety compliance in execution works with established safety policies, procedures and practices.

Scope of Work: The scope of work comprises the turnkey design, engineering, Supply, delivery, Installation erection and construction, site testing, commissioning and handing over in satisfactory operation condition-including all auxiliary equipment, accessories and work of the HGU unit at Bathinda, Punjab .
