Key Responsibilities as Assistant Resident Engineer:
• Offering technical advice and construction leadership on projects during the planning and design phases as well as handled contract management, direction, supervision, coordination and control of the work during the construction phase.
• Leading a multidisciplinary team of engineers and inspectors in diverse arenas encompassing civil, mechanical, electrical, and architectural.
• Establishing an effective project quality control procedures and ensuring that they are in accordance with the plans, specifications, and industry standards.
• Reviewing construction plans, specifications, and schedules; monitoring quality of material and installation of work, ensuring that tests and inspections are performed, witnessed, and documented for technical accuracy.

• Represented the Riyadh Metro project team externally with public authorities, regulators and third parties.
• Provided technical support to secure approvals, agreements and /or undertakings with stakeholders including government departments, authorities, regulatory bodies, various agencies and any other third parties.
• Build a trusted relationship with industry partners, public authorities, government (local, national & international) and key decision makers to enable smooth project progress.
• Liaised with Stakeholders to resolve issues related to all projects phases, while maintaining transparency in transactions between authorities including The Ministry of Transport to expedite development of national public transportation policies.
• Lead on Stakeholders Engagement and interfacing activities with Saudi Electricity Company (SEC), the National Water Company and the telecom operators to effectively resolve the critical physical interface issues between the Metro line infrastructure and existing utilities.
• Strengthened ties with Civil Defense, Riyadh Municipality and the Ministry of Interior to ensure successful traffic coordination.
• Supported the land acquisitions and access to suit job tasks, and devised solutions to problems encountered.

• Supervised all construction including budget, scheduling, quality assurance and safety and ensured total compliance with company’s policies, quality procedures, statutory regulations and project specifications
