TOP DESIGN is a major player in the furniture industry in Qatar, having our own carpentry
and joinery factory to provide a wide range of furnishing & decoration solutions on a range
of stylish modern residential and commercial projects.
* Leading, managing and improving the production related functions and the entire manufacturing
facility from incoming materials to exporting finished goods; ( planning & scheduling, production
performance, quality, safety, warehousing and factory administration ).
* Co-operating with the design department to advise about the possibility of implementation of
new applicable designs.
* Work with all departments to guarantee that the products quality is always above the standards
and within the time plan.

* Resolve manufacturing problems and identify potentials for cost reduction and value
improvement.
* Managing maintenance of factory machines including control (CNC) router machines, tools, and
equipment to guarantee that all machines are fully performing.
* Managing and developing lucrative relationships with local and overseas vendors and suppliers
to secure material supply for production with best prices, terms and conditions.
* Managing factory budget, financial relations and payments with suppliers and related
expenditures.
* Track, monitor and develop inventory storage of furniture, material, all the necessary spare part
& consumables and arrange shipping accordingly.
* Providing and Implementing healthy and safe work environment and procedures to meet
company values and standards.
* Managing and organizing labors, providing technical training and guidance to trainees and
current workforce to improve their technical knowledge and performance.
Working for Nasser Bin Khaled Heavy Equipment has equipped me with solid competences and
gave me a great opportunity to be a part of teams that built some of Qatar most significant
projects and landmarks.
For example, I implemented a lease equipment project that worth 140 million Qatari riyals for
a period of four years for Qatalum Qatar, which is built to be a world-class producer of
aluminum customers around the world.
Key Responsibilities through My Journey with NBK:
* Responsible for the end to end service operation of NBK Heavy Equipment Division.
* Managed all the technical support and maintenance issues for 17 various international brands of
heavy machineries and material heavy handling equipment's and power generating.
Brands as: CASE, BOMAG, , CIFA, MTU and more.
* Managed rental business for different kind of projects in Qatar of both sides, commerce & service
issues.
* Developed service department operating plan and workshop processes that support the divisional
and business plan.
* Directly supervised & carried out performance appraisals of workshop supervisor, team leaders,
and product support engineers in accordance with NBK standards.
* Addressed performance management challenges in constructive and timely manner to NBKS General
Manager.
* Prepares periodic operational reports showing services business volume and potential changes.
* Manage financial issues and constructions operational cost to guarantee that we average in
profitable area and invoicing the credit collection from our clients.
* Budgeting influencer for the service department, analyzed and controlled expenditures of Heavy
Equipment Service to confirm to divisional budgetary requirements.
Managed maintenance team and production lines of all quarry sites within a 1, 200 KM area.

* Implemented efficient maintenance of the mine equipment for overall availability and reliability.
* Ensured compliance with all regulatory requirements and all site policies and procedures.
* Fleet management and purchasing of new vehicles, equipment, machineries and spare parts.
* Coordinated with the engineering team in order to improve the production and quality of the
material.
* Developed and managed the annual and life-of-mine maintenance budget.
* Aid in the training of personnel within own work group in order to meet the goals of the
organization.
