Reviewing technical tenders and performing proposals reviews for technical bids and performing offer reviewing for proposals, get notes, contact suppliers, and modify according to latest standards requirements. Leading a team of Foremen and Coworkers in performing planned maintenance with safety manners. All types of Pumps, Mechanical Seals, Bearings: Design Calculations, Selection & Installation. For Example of pump manufacturer :( Nikkiso, Durco, Flow Serve, ITT.Goulds, Byron Jackson, Sundyne …etc.) Examples of Mechanical Seals Manufacturer: (John Crane, EG&G SEALOL, DuraSeal, flutein…etc.)Examples of positive pumps for dosing and metering applications: (LEWA, Dosapro-Milton Roy, Pulsafeeder, OMG, OBL Grundfos…etc.) and positive pumps for industry solutions Examples (screw pumps, plunger pumps, lube pumps, Melt pumps…) Example of manufacturers (seepex, Waukesha…) Perform necessary modifications sketches for pump spare parts to meet required operating parameters and reduce failure Redundancy. Prepare and review spare parts drawing using CAD software prior to issuing final drawings to workshop. Simplify spare parts designs to meet the machining capability for old fashioned conventional lathe, milling machines. Follow up work shop for spare parts manufacturing process according to time plans. Perform quality control inspection and see how parts meets required dimensions within specified tolerances, surface finish, run out ( for shaft), etc. … prior to installation. Ensure material compatibly with fluid handled to sustain chemical attack specially working in Petrochemicals Facility. Prepare full detailed report sheet for the modification done and the feedback of this modification and keep a copy in machine life book. Schedule daily workload and generate work schedule plan for desired maintenance preventive plan.
Follow up with vibration analysis department for routine measurements to monitor any fault and predict its severity. Prepare requisitions for the issue of correct material for parts during RFQ process and contact OEM for
alternatives available to keep machine reliable. Initiate and develop specific mechanical repair procedures and work instructions for each pump with the necessary man power involved each. Supervise work execution and carrying out mechanical routine jobs, troubleshooting to mechanical and hydraulic problems.
Perform monthly updates for pump history including work done, spare parts used ( whether OEM or internally replicated), man power involved, vibration analysis sheets with values and curves, measurements, work procedure, type of faults, photos during dismantling, and root cause analysis sheet report.
Coach and guide group of highly qualified trained foreman and technicians to perform job done Ensure sufficient and suitable resources and equipment are available to complete all mechanical repair work. Ensure good communication between technicians to gain others experience and enrich group knowledge.
Auditing unsafe acts and ensures work is carried out in accordance with HSE policies.
