About Bakenaz A. Zeidan,
She got her PhD degree entitled “A Numerical (FEM) Study of the Effect of Anisotropy on Phreatic Seepage Flows". She was the head of water department since 2003 till 2012. She teaches both undergraduate and graduate civil engineering students;courses related to water engineering, Nile water crisis, and numerical modeling. She has more than 40 international published papers covering Nile water conflict, groundwater quality modelling, FEM simulation of seismic responses of dam-reservoir-foundation coupled systems. She participates in in more than 50 scientific events. She supervised many Msc. and PhD dissertations. Active member of NGWA, ICOLD, USSD. Peer reviewer for international water journals. Focal point of Tanta university for ministry of irrigation and water resources-Egypt. Founder of Tanta University Water Research and Technology Centre TUWRTC in 2011.
support scientific and technical collaboration between Tanta University and Ministry of Water Resources and Irrigation in common fields related to water security.
