Monitor technical requirements of the works, including quality control/assurance. Resolve technical issues. Quantity verification.

Generate Change documents (FCD and NCR).
Coordinate subcontractor activities to ensure materials, equipment and quality comply with design plans and specifications.

Key Responsibilities:
• Driving project excellence by providing project strategy recommendations to enhance project value, ensuring efficient use of project resources, adherence to agreed timelines, and the provision of high quality, reliable and responsive services in line with customer needs and set objectives/goals.
• Offering technical advice and construction leadership on projects; monitoring projects from conceptualization, beginning of site due diligence process, coordinating subcontractors, site approvals and permits as well as engineering activities until final execution.
• Leading a multidisciplinary team of engineers and inspectors in diverse arenas and conducting project engineering reviews/meetings, studies and site investigation.
• Providing civil engineering expertise and participating in the processes of ensuring the engineering/designing of all facilities is safe to construct and implementing modification/improvement if required.
• Overseeing all construction drawings to ensure precision across all architectural, structural and services drawings, while ensuring all works are conducted as per detailed drawing.
• Analyzing Shop/ fabrication drawings prepared by contractor and ascertaining the drawings are agreed and that a project program is in place. Additionally studying Red line mark up and “As Built Drawings” and incorporating all changes and updating them promptly before submitting to the owner as part of the project close out process.
• Reviewing construction plans, specifications, and schedules; monitoring quality of material and installation of work, ensuring that tests and inspections are performed, witnessed, and documented for technical accuracy.
• Accepting ownership for accomplishing projects with, analyzing engineering designs and drawings, construction and quality issues, errors, omissions and executed requisite measures for resolving the same.
• Generating an array of technical and management reports; maintaining accurate record and documents for projects handled and interpreting all project information and presenting the same to project manager/ senior management along with recommendations for improvisation.
• Maintaining good working relations with site management, Client, contractors, suppliers, designers and with the end users. Managing the project handover to consultant and client, while ensuring smooth project’s close out and defect /snag free completion.

• Outlined project objectives/ plans, including budgeting and scheduling activities, set performance requirements and assigned duties to ensure flawless execution of project on time and within budget.
• Managed, directed and controlled site’s civil engineering activities in entirety right from inception to completion; provided technical expertise and direction to all project operations including contract conditions.
• Evaluated the project, reviewed and finalized designs, oversaw the development of shop drawings and supervised all finishing works (Block work, Plastering work, tiling, painting, etc.)
