Primary and secondary design
• Preparation of layout for switchyard, equipment layout, Hazardous area classification layout, Cable routing layout, Auxiliary Power layout, Lighting layout, Earthing & Lightning protection layout etc.
• Performing power and control cable sizing calculations and preparation of cable schedules
Power system studies, protection scehme verification, SAS.
• ETAP modeling and relay setting Co-ordination.
Responsibilities:
1, Carefully evaluating client’s requirements for power system studies and design engineering services.
2, Responsible for performing power system studies using ETAP, PSS/E & PSCAD software’s.
3, To attend meetings with clients, consultants and other related parties.
4, Involved in design and review EHV substation primary and secondary (protection and control system).
6, Preparation of Protection Interlock Logic Diagram, Interconnection Charts, controls Cable Schedule.
7, Review of Control and Relay panel Schematics, wiring for Feeder protection, Transformer, generator, AVR, Bus bar protection, Auto reclose etc.
8, CT and PT Parameters Sizing, Battery bank sizing, earthing design.
9, Review of Substation automation system IEC61850.
10, Review of Control and Relay panel Schematics, wiring for Feeder protection, Transformer, generator, AVR, Bus bar protection, Auto reclose, relay configuration(SEL, ABB, SIEMNES, ALSTHOM ) etc.
11, Preparation of Electrical Load list, Electrical Load Analysis, sizing of equipments like Transformer, Generator, NGR, AC / DC UPS, Battery and Cables, etc.
12, Preparation of MR / specification, Vendor offer review, Technical Bid evaluation & Vendor document review of Electrical Equipments like EHV Switchyard, Over head line, package substation, Transformer, Switchgear, SCADA system, NGR, Motors, AC & DC UPS, Battery, Cables etc.
13, Preparation of layout for EHV switchyard, substation equipment layout, Hazardous area classification layout, Tray / Trench layout, Power layout, Lighting, Earthing & Lightning protection layout, etc.
Performing power and control cable sizing calculations and preparation of cable schedules.
14, To conduct training course on Power system simulations for Industrial/Utility engineers.
Field data collection, PQ/Harmonic measurements and review of base designs & technical documents.
15, Preparation of site-survey and investigation report.
16, Preparation of Technical Specifications and BOQ’s.
17, Preparation of man-hour estimates and techno-commercial 18, proposals for tendering purpose.
19, Preparing weekly project status report of the complete team.
20, Business development activities for the PS-Consulting division.
• EHV UG cable design and routing design.
• Responsible for performing testing and commissioning for complete turnkey project
