• Arrange and participate in conferences with engineers, suppliers, purchasers and inspectors to facilitate material inspection, substitution, standardization and economical procurement of parts & equipment.
• Participates in the technical and un- priced commercial evaluation of Quotations and then leads the subsequent priced commercial evaluation of technically acceptable offers that includes professional adjustment factors depending on the nature of the goods and tender. Prepares a comprehensive techno- commercial evaluation report and recommendations.
• Processes award recommendations, ensure necessary approvals and finalize with successful bidder the Purchase Order document.
• Validates the development and implementation of all suppliers’ procedures for conformity with the PO. Checks conformity of all documentation called for, including delivery Terms, shipping, insurance and the like with agreed formats and processes as required.
• Assist in evaluating Supplier’s request for approval of sub- vendors. Monitors performance of Supplier in terms of timely delivery and quality.
• Reviews, advises and negotiates as part of constituted team, revised terms, variation order requests in liaison with responsible management.
• Assist project controls group in obtaining and assessing cost and progress data performance. Provides relevant data and assist to the Contract Administration System and provides facilities for performance analysis of the historical Purchase Order matters.
• Appointing new freight forwarders entering rate contracts involving coordination with companies for Sea/ Air/ Road Transport, C&F Agents, CHA’s and other external agencies to achieve seamless & cost effective transport solutions as per incoterms
• Coordinates the final close- out of completed POs by ensuring proper resolution of all outstanding issues. Provides input and reviews the commercial aspects of Performance reports on suppliers.
• Conducts all work activities in a safe and environmentally responsible manner at all times by not taking on any task(s) that are perceived as unsafe.
• Demonstrated management, leadership, team building, analytical, problem solving, statistical, interface, decision making, and conflict resolution skills.

• Supervise the preparation of quotations/tenders, analysis of supplier bids, and award of contracts as required.
• Liaise with QA so that quality data (KPI’s and defect analysis) is captured, analyzed, reported promptly with suitable root cause analysis and corrective action plans.
• Good working knowledge of the Environmental, Safety, Health & Quality policies, practices, and procedures as they relate to the procurement functions
• Build a panel of qualified suppliers for all areas in which we operate. Negotiate and manage long-term pricing agreements with vendors who supply core services.
• Manage the onboarding of subcontractors to ensure legal and financial requirements have been met.

Responsible for receipt of SPIR document for clinet and distribution and work allocation for cataloguers.
Connecting the with spares with respective equipment and creation of BOM.
Eliminating potential duplicates and framing templates with appropriate characteristics for the entire inventory.
Structuring/Formatting of the items to enable centralized procurement.
Responsible for preparation of report and submission to end user.

Responsible for data process management for MAXIMO implementation of military equipment spare parts.
Performance of specification reviews and enhancement of catalogued items through physical inspection and also quality control of other cataloguer works.
