Refinitiv has over 40 DBoRs (Database of Reference Systems) across 15 data centres, directly feeding 100 products through 500 internal data flows. This current state is unsustainable both from a commercial and IT perspective as it has considerable infrastructure duplications and inefficiencies as well as customized client workflows, which are cost and time-intensive to support. This microservices architecture will provide a framework for multiple teams to work independently on building out components that fit together like building blocks, all of which can be further developed without creating a web of dependencies. Mphasis consultants will work with Refinitiv teams to validate existing approaches and architecture designs related to AWS infrastructure and operations to identify gaps, if any, and make recommendations to remediate gaps. Mphasis will also provide recommendations to accelerate the execution of DBoR migrations to AWS.
