- Ensuring the smooth running of the daily overall HR operation
- Driving and achieving brand compliance quality metric “PASS” for two years in a row (working closely with Quality
Manager and concerned departments)
- Achieving 100% Departmental Engagement score through influence in pre-survey meetings with different departments
to an above target score of 88% hotel engagement score
- Achieving a 90% engagement score amongst newcomers based on the Hotel onboarding program
- Initiating the IHG Academy program partnership and achieving above target scores for intern intake
- Formulating and implementing learning and development programs
- Working closely with IHG MEA L&Q team on training trends, developments and best practices

Cluster training for the Phoenicia and Le Vendôme InterContinental Hotel
- Championing the Brand Standards/Guest Experience programs (HR representative)
- Ensuring employees receive on-going training to understand guest expectations contributing to service excellence
- Regularly observing employee service behaviors and providing feedback (to concerned managers where necessary)
- Updating trainings and ensuring they maintain compliance with Brand Standards
- Preparing and ensuring implementation of the training needs analysis (Six Month Training Plan)
- Monitoring progress of Departmental Trainers and offering support where needed (bi-monthly training reviews)
- Obtaining a network of trainers who can assist with conducting training programs throughout the hotel
- Monitoring and reviewing process and progress of trainees

Managing the day to day Personnel function (including Clinic and NSSF services/dotted reporting line from Talent Resourcing team)
- Ensuring proper maintenance of employee records, policies and procedures and other related personnel issues
- Developing and updating job descriptions in coordination with HR Management and Head of Departments
- Following up with legal authorities on disciplinary actions, employment contracts, expatriate colleagues papers, etc…
- Driving the Employee Engagement action planning along with HR Director
- Handling employee grievances
- Overlooking month-end closing procedures

Cluster recruiting for the Phoenicia and Le Vendôme InterContinental Hotel
- Maintaining an average yearly turnover ratio of less than 4% along with a maximum of 14 “days to fill” per vacancy
- Preparing departmental productivity reports for Hotel payroll improvement plan (monitoring staffing and costs)
- Preparing critical paths for recruitment projects
- Handling the “IHG Academy” in coordination with the Learning and Development team
- Working closely and maintaining special relationships with Universities and Recruitment agencies

Staffing and Recruiting/Talent Acquisition:
- Monitoring employee requisition forms and acting to attract qualified candidates
- Posting vacant positions internally and externally on numerous platforms
- Conducting interviews, discussing feedback of candidates with concerned managers
- Preparing and sending offer packages for local and expatriate hires following reference checks
- Liaising with Area IHG Hotels on taskforce/ transfer opportunities for colleagues
- Handling the onboarding programs and repatriation processes of expatriate recruited positions
