Highlights:
• Determined the strategic plans for banking technology in payment systems and for projects including upgrade of OS to build new disaster recovery site and application of PCI rules to the security system, etc.
• Analyzed existing payment systems inside and outside SAMA and provided strategic inputs in building some vital systems including Saudi Payment Network 2 (SPAN2), Saudi Clearing System SARIE, and Saudi Billing Payment System SADAD.

Key Responsibilities:
• Delivering the organization’s services, including identification of opportunities for innovation, and assessment of technical hurdles to the business success.
• Providing a comprehensive framework for managing and aligning IT assets, operations, projects and people with operational characteristics.
• Managing the day-to-day operations of the department including Server management, Network, System Admin and administering Data center with 24/ 7 support for 600+ Unix Boxes with HACMP Clusters.
• Developing the technology roadmap for the required IT systems; installing and configuring IBM AIX 5L for Power Version 5.3 & 6.1 for p5/p6 range of servers as well as spearheading teams for the Production/Development servers.
• Assisting the projects in technical activities, reviewing deliverables and promptly resolving incident tickets and change tickets in service center tool to achieve the SLA.
• Identifying & translating project requirements into highly specified project briefs; seamlessly migrating AIX project from 5.2 to 5.3 in production and testing environment in Phoenix Client.
• Managing project goals, objectives and metrics consistent with corporate strategic plan by performing Memory replacement carried out in VIO server; supporting server build and micropartitioning activity in addition to optimizing resources through Capacity on Demand.
• Serving as the primary day-to-day technical contact for checking on error reports analysis and solving; ensuring backups and facilitating LUN to the server and increasing the file system by providing the end to end support by working with the storage team.
• Establishing ongoing operations through power path upgrade in EMC and the microcode upgrade; TSM client configuration, regular backups, restoration and troubleshooting on the schedule backup failure.
• Demonstrating knowledge on LPAR, DLPAR and VIO Servers; NIM Servers; Ticket management based on the SLA and disaster recovery planning.
• Managing time schedules, technology & capital to meet business growth needs on time & within budget with a strong focus on adhering to deadlines.
• Establishing and maintain a high level of trust, confidence, and integrity with both business and IT partners as well as developing opportunities for improvements such as expanding capacity, reducing time & cost, and increasing effectiveness.

Key Projects to Credit:
The Saudi Arabian Riyal Interbank Express (SARIE):
• Supported the bank in providing the basis for improved banking products and services for streamlining the payments system strategy across the Kingdom.
The Saudi Payments Network (SPAN) :
• Ensured smooth operations for National ATM and Points of Sale network connecting all Saudi banks and providing a common service point to the Kingdom.
• Created awareness and encouraged Saudi citizens and foreign a residents to utilize the banking system and promoted the use of electronic access to funds at remote locations thereby reducing the bank notes in circulation.
• Enhanced the efficiency of the banking sector by avoiding ineffective competition at the transaction delivery points.
The eTrust:
• Facilitated SAMA to act as a trusted Certificate Authority (CA) and supported the use of comprehensive policy based Digital Certificate Management System for the creation and management of certificate-based digital identities and signatures.

SADAD Payment System (SADAD) was established by the Saudi Arabian Monetary Agency (SAMA) to be the national Electronic Bill Presentment and Payment (EBPP) service provider for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) to facilitate and streamline bill payment transactions of end consumers through all channels of the Kingdom’s Banks.

Highlights:
• Managed SADAD project with SAMA and maintained new releases and project schedules.

Key Responsibilities:
• Designed technical architectures and roadmaps of high complexity, technologies, maintained detailed project schedule and oversaw all sites involved in the project.
• Determined the requirements with help of Business Analysis team; organized meetings; managed project calendars; oversaw travel arrangements and prepared expense reports.
• Worked closely with department managers to understand the business requirement for projects, defined deliverables, and resource requirements and work plan for the project, and tracked project milestones and updated sites as agreed with engineering and project management.
• Monitored process optimization and documentation of information/process flows through the organization; managed filing systems and efficiently maintained project documents (hard and soft copies).
• Engaged with all key stakeholders and updated management regarding latest trends in addition to coordinate with business analysts and project engineers to develop and maintain the detailed schedule.
• Delivered high quality solutions that provide consistent/reliable systems, and meet the business objectives and expectations within time/budget constraints.
• Provided regular updates to senior management on implementation success, potential delays and resource adjustments in order to achieve targets.

• Supported end-to-end systems engineering activities, served as primary systems-related support resource and technical expert for evaluating business and sale department problems.
• Contributed technically when needed and ensured that projects are completed on time and within budget as well as oversaw installing and configuring Mobily-Portal.
• Organized requirements definition for, and selection of, productivity enhanced technologies and their application for business process optimization.
• Analyzed organizational technology and information needs from an operational and strategic perspective to determine immediate and long-range personnel/equipment requirements and independently handled the Production Environment as a team member.
