➢Make sure Health, Safety, Security, Environment and Quality policies of the Group are strictly followed by internal staff and external contractors.
➢ Set KPIs and carrying out internal audits of the Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality processes measuring performance.
➢ Ensure that all operations are run according to the IMS standards and requirements
➢ Ensures implementation, maintenance and follow up of HSEQ Management systems- ONE MAESTRO, EVARISK, SMT, TRIR, ICC, ICT, TRA, HACCAP, ISO9001, ISO14001, ISO45001, Management Safety Tours and Transport Management systems.
➢ Ensures implementation of Technical integrity- testing of Critical Safety Barriers, management of change, reporting and downgraded mode procedures.
➢ Provide professional support and advice to the Senior Management Team and Staff on Occupational Safety, Health, Environmental and Quality matters.
➢ Monitors the effective implementation of appropriate Safety and Environment System procedures and provide for their updating in line with changes in Legislation and Company Directives.
➢ Participates to HAZOP meetings prior to procurement and installation activities.
➢ Carrying out risk assessments ensuring that all documentation and method statements are up to date.
➢ Implement HSEQ inductions, committees and maintain positive safety culture using proper tools and techniques
➢ Produce safety alerts, return of experience and good practice reports
➢ Produce regional HSEQ statistics monthly, identify trends and take proactive initiatives
➢ Raises the level of HSEQ awareness and culture among staff and business partners- service stations staff & Dealers, transporters, contractors’ staff through HSEQ training and reporting of near misses.
➢ Ensures incidences and accidents are attended to promptly and studied .
➢ Ensures accidents and high potential near misses are analyzed using the Causes tree analysis method and apply the preventive action in the specific site or process and globally in the company.
➢ Responsible for reviewing accident and incident HSEQ reports and investigation.
➢ Ensures annual review of Emergency and Security Response plans for all facilities, station, and Road transport .
➢ Implements and rolls out Security Management System - Country Security plan and for respective facilities
➢ Manage, control, and coordinate all the security related activities.
➢ Ensures monthly drills based on developed scenarios in the Emergency Response plans and conducted per schedule and plan and coordinate CMC drills per year
➢ Make sure that all transport activity is being performed with respect to the group’s safety standards and procedures including loading, offloading, diviners’ behavior, safe to load, etc.
➢ Establish procedures / work instruction (SSW) related to Health, Safety, Security, and Quality.
➢ Identify areas of risk and develop measures to reduce and control, and innovate new control solutions
➢ Daily analyze/ follow up the driving behavior and violations for the light vehicles, and transportation trucks
➢ Maintain and update all HSSEQ related reports and guides.
➢ Train all employees and contractors based on HSSEQ values.
➢ Analyze different departments HSEQ related activities to determine preventive procedures.
➢ Provide the necessary reports on the performance of quality management system and any need for improvement to senior management.
