 Assistant in charge of supervision of the day to day operations of the Ward.  Assist in preparing daily, monthly and yearly ward report to Nursing Service Administrator.  Ensuring all targets set for the ward is achieved timely.  Assist in monitoring to ensure that ward operates in compliance to hospital protocols.  Assist in timely wards rounds with ward assigned Doctors.  Ensuring that both patient and their relatives are properly cared for.  Administer timely patient medication as prescribed.  Monitoring of patient Vital signs as required.  Also engage in palliative care of patient when required.  Following up to ensure timely and adequate supply of patient medication.  Providing medical care to patients by monitoring vital signs, gathering. Information about healthcare problems, and offering emotional support.  Create treatment plans for patients.  Monitor vital signs such as blood pressure and heart rate.  Provide advice and emotional support.  Assist surgeons during surgery.  Train student nurses.  Complete paperwork relating to patient care and progress.
