ICF international publishes an Integrated Energy Outlook (IEO) focussed on Power, Coal, Gas, Renewable and Environment markets of the US. The quarterly IEO series offers unique insights into trends and developments likely to dominate energy markets for the next two decades. Working on IEO involved research, analysis and modelling. We modeled markets using ICF’s proprietary Integrated Planning Model (IPM) which provides projections of key parameters.
Responsible for updating Thermal Power Plant database and power sector deals database; Quality check of information and data mentioned by associate analysts; Dealing with ad-hoc client queries and interactions wherever necessary; Conducting primary and secondary research for obtaining key industry information; Interacting with team members in knowledge sharing and development
Research, analysis, modelling, database design and report writing as part of various energy sector consulting assignments. Additionally, project management and training were also integral part of day-to-day activities.
Completed 2 year full-time program of Petro-Informatics, an industry focused curriculum with focus on business analysis, knowledge management and IT applications in Oil & Gas sector. During course, I completed by internship with Asia Consulting Group Pvt Ltd wherein the project we undertook was Crude Oil Price Dynamics- a qualitative understanding. Later, I extended this project as part of my dissertation on - Crude Oil Price Forecasting using Artificial Neural Networks which was recognized as the second best in my batch.
