Responsible for all aspects of logistics, import/export, warehouse, distribution, and customer deliveries as well as improving all operational processes and supply chain management performed.

Duties:
• Focused on lean daily operations, implementing process improvements and a system to track all orders.
• Organized all import and export shipments and tracked customs clearance and deliveries.
• Supervised all loading and unloading.
• Control shipping, fleet, and transportation costs and budgeting.
• Set up logistics and warehouse KPIs, performance review, and evaluation.
• Sourcing, negotiation, and contracting with new service providers.
• Monitoring deliveries and driver performance.
• Managing warehouses and stock control, item coding, GRN, stock counting, operational duties, QA, and safety requirements.
• Direct responsibility for 134 logistics and warehouse staff, and 20 drivers.

- Achieved company target for a newly established branch in Abu Dhabi of min. 155 shipments monthly.
- Contracting and partnering with new service providers in land transport, customs clearance, and shipping lines.
• Cost controlling on all shipments costs and negotiate demurrage with shipping lines.
• Ensured all operations comply with legal and corporate regulations.
• Entrusted with the onus of generating business by developing new customers.
• Proactively engaged in managing inbound and outbound shipping, and escalated services.
