• Driving standards across the Ocean Heights Dubai Marina project, a major initiative to develop an 84 floor residential tower within entertainment facilities. Also, successful in the completion of a four-year tenure as an Architect, responsible for playing a pivotal role on the Discovery Gardens project to construct 276 residential apartment buildings.
• Maintaining senior accountability for quality assurance, working in line with stringent requirements and project specifications
• Ensuring best practice is maintained through the review of progress and the delivery of comprehensive reports of findings to the resident engineer
• Analysing the progress and issues identified in the above reports, while providing comparison with contractor and subcontractor reports to assess performance against schedules and costs
• Demonstrating strong change management skills in the development of key action plans to respond to variations, changing client requirements and developments within the site
• Playing a proactive role in the assessment of site performance, through consultation with client auditors and the completion of site walks
• Applying an excellent knowledge of the technical requirements of the role, with responsibility for the review and update of shop drawings and built drawings
• Undertaking all other tasks required to ensure the success of the project, including the complete snagging process to final handover
• Adapting to changing conditions on site by developing new, tailored design modifications to meet the new requirements of the project
• Employing excellent teamwork skills in the role, working in close conjunction with the Architectural, Structural and MEP divisions
• Providing advice, guidance and information to an additional consultant responsibility for all infrastructure and landscaping works
