Supervise subordinate personnel including: hiring, determining workload and delegating assignments, training, monitoring and evaluating performance, and initiating corrective actions.
Ensure compliance with applicable federal and state laws, regulations, and agency rules, standards and guidelines, etc.
Extensive knowledge & experience of HACCP (Hazard Analysis & Critical Control Point system for Quality Management) and its implementation.
Implementation of government/ Municipality rules & regulations in disease control and food safety including animals & animal-based food product inspection.
Excellent & proven ability to recognize & defuse a difficult situation with tact, confidence and professionalism
Train workers in food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures.
Inspected, surveyed and investigated food handling establishments & industries for compliance to certification, registration, licensure laws and regulations.
Liaised with federal and state regulatory agencies to apply applicable codex/GCC laws & regulations.
