Responsible about 5 SABIC affiliates' spare parts and chemical warehouses with
total of 40 Saudi & Non-Saudi employees.
Lead safety responsibilities for the new IBN RUSHD warehouse project (fire
system, yard fences, illumination system, ventilation, chemical & spares transfer
and internal transportation) to ensure EHSS requirements are fulfilled.
Fully contributed in Crisis Management for COVID Pandemic to ensure business
continuity and keep staff and workplace safe.
Participated in Pandemic Rollback Plan to ensure safety and readiness of
workplaces.
Maintain and apply knowledge of current health and safety (SHEM) policies,
regulations, and industrial processes for SABIC.
Review preventive maintenance plans and specifications for new machinery and
equipment with third party.
Identify and correct potential hazards by daily inspecting warehouses facilities,
machinery, and safety equipment (forklifts, crane, ladders, etc.)
Install safety devices and improve safety visual controls on machinery and
buildings .
Responsible about Safety & Health for 80 employees in addition to facilities in
plants and administration buildings.
Improved overall safety performance system and employees' cultures.
Created new Safety Recognition Program (SRP) to recognize best performer
every month.
Created new dashboard to monitor and control safety performance for
departments and employees.
Reported and reviewed findings from accident investigations, facilities
inspections, or environmental testing.
Provided plants with safety
Using principles of chemistry in many aspects of plant design and operation, including safety and hazard assessments, process design and analysis, modeling, control engineering, construction specification, and operating instructions.
