• Responsible for planning, organizing, managing, coasting, budget analyzing, evaluating and controlling the operation of Equipment's, Instruments and Facilities of domestic Airports.
• Established and maintains a coherent computerized quantity register for facilities in unique format.
• Evaluate & coasting of BOQ (Bill Of quantity under facility and non-facility) according to addition and deletion of airport facilities.
• Supervise HO/TO process during incoming and outgoing contract whenever it is done.
• Propose modification to improve system & sub-system in order to enhance equipment’s, instruments and facilities reliability as well as reduction of operating and maintenance cost.
• Develop and implement an appropriate procurement and provisioning system relating to the spare parts and materials and the allocated budget amount, which is fair, transparent and cost effective.
• Coordinate in the analysis of equipment maintenance, repairs and failure data, to develop logistics support requirements and to ensure improvements in procurements requirements.
• Frequently visiting the airports to resolve existing and anticipated problems in the area of BOQ and logistic & procurement section.
• Develop a standard maintenance procedure for the all type of equipment and follow the corrective, preventive maintenance and semi or major overhauling schedule.
• Study in depth the failure incident of equipment and propose action to prevent in future.
• Review the runback, tripping incident and effect of grid disturbance on power plant. Coordinate with concerned O&M department and review technical report and suggest future course of action to prevent the incident in future.
• Participate in daily commissioning activities, testing and demonstrating of new equipment's and system.
• Review and evaluate new project documents and correspondence of contractor, consultant and generation technical services departments.
• Participate in FATs (factory Acceptance Tests) and SATs (Site Acceptance Tests).
• Coordination, checking and supervision of daily plant complaints, problems and its rectifications.
• Calibration and maintenance of the field instruments used in the thermal power plant and BOP.
• Arrange the training material and sessions for the engineer and (I&C) staff.
Evaluate the proposed corrective actions of the NCRs and modifications proposed in the FDCs for the improvement of the system.
