Ensuring that staffs are motivated monitored and measured in line with company targets and performance standards. Responsible for making sure that any gaps in performance or quality are quickly identified and addressed. Producing accurate reports on team performance for senior managers.
Duties:
*Inspection and certification of lifting equipments like crane, forklift, Rescue boat Davit, Winches, all types of lifting gears etc. as per complying standards
*Preparing daily workloads for staff & coordinating the daily allocation of work.
*Motivating the team to achieve high standards and SMS targets.
*Handling new client enquiries and acting as the face of the business.
*Dealing with and resolving problems and issues which arise.
*Working with the sales and marketing team to drive sales forward.
*Mentoring and training up junior and new staff.
*Arranging & chairing weekly team meetings, focusing on targets & achievements. Implementing new initiatives.
*Praise team members and creates a positive working environment.
*Providing prompt and accurate information on individual performance.
*Inspection of lifting equipments
*Proof Load test, Destruction and Non destruction (MPI & DPI) test of Lifting equipment as per code /specification/Approved drawing requirements
*In house quality checking of lifting gears like steel wire rope, chain sling, webbing sling etc. as per BS standards and LOLER
*Support sales team by client meeting, site visit and job scope evaluation for quotations
*Prepare and keep records of OPS, QP, material certificates, and Inspection reports as per ISO 9001-2008, BS standards, ILO and LOLER
*Prepare test procedures, Lifting Plan TRA (Task Risk Assessment) for various jobs as per test facility
Worked as an assistant planning Engineer, scheduling and tracking the entire panel assembly of MUTIARA Thermal power project, Tuticorin, India.
Development of Base Line Schedule using Planning Software PRIMAVERA 6
Preparation of Weekly; Monthly & Three Months look-ahead Schedule. Updating actual Progress and all related information & comparison analysis
Tracking and maintain scope changes of panel assembly; manpower; material & Mechanical Equipment’s and its effect on the overall project schedule.
Estimation of Manpower Requirement for the Project based on standard productivity norms. Monitoring of actual resources availability & analysis using Histogram
Review and forecast Contractor Work front availability and conduct continuity of work analysis.
Preparation Executive Progress Summary Report / Presentations to the Top Management on Project Status for periodical review.
Familiar with Isometric drawings and tube bending in reference with drawings.
Coordinate with other departments and Sub contractors for proper material flow.
*QC check of tubes after welding and end preparation as per QP, OPS and ASME B 31.3
*NDT, hydro test, ball test, sponge test of panel as well as tube weld
*QC documentation for IBR approval
*Develop Quality Procedure for Panel Formation
*Prepare cutting Plans of pipe and tube for shop production as per the drawing and standards(ASME & IBR)
*High pressure Water wall and super heater production follow up as per monthly plan.
*Preparing monthly and weekly plan for High pressure boiler production from yearly and repair plan
*Review material certificates of tubes and plates coming from storage yard; outsourcing and sub-contractors.
*Prepare sub drawings with Auto CAD for shop production.
*Arrange and follow up materials and documents for BURNER PANEL production.
