Responsibilities

• Mainly responsible for designing, planning, ordering, and evaluation of offers, contract preparation, supervision and project monitoring pertaining to all types of technical buildings related to Steel making Plant.

• Review of shop drawings related to his discipline and ensures its compliance with designs, contract requirement and properly coordinated with other discipline.
• Review all Contractor submittals related to his discipline addressing Method Statements, Project Quality Plan, Safety Plan, Schedules and compliance with Project objective.
• Review the project progress with superiors and follows up as required. Initiates necessary action to avoid delays in the projects.
• Carry out all inspections and ensure quality of work is in compliance with contract requirements, good practice and only approved materials are used.
• Checking & Certification of Contractors’ Bill for payment in accordance with the Contract terms and company procedures

The project comprised of following work; a) Sea reclamation using suitable land based material to form a platform of 108 acres b) Construction of rock Armour Edge Protection at the perimeter of the reclaimed area. c) Construction of beaches Estimated cost of the project Rs 2 billion approx. This was the project of Emaar International and M/s Halcrow International Partnership was the Consultant for the project works.

Responsibilities:

• Detailed planning of all stages of construction, including workers, equipment and materials.

• Management and supervision of works including planning and liaisoning with Project Consultants.

• Review of field related coordination issues and direct resolutions for implementation

Responsibilities:

• To order steel as per three weeks look ahead work program as per reinforcement drawings

• To supervise and manage steel arrival from factory and unloading at site’s steel yard on daily basis and its distribution at site as per daily requirement.

• To check & rectify any discrepancy in construction drawings from Engineering Department.
