Responsible for managing site Mechanical Engineers and Inspectors, review and approval of material submittals, shop drawings, equipment selection and approval, and follow-up on site installations and ensuring their compliance with project requirements and quality procedures. Also involved in pre-commissioning and commissioning of equipment including but not limited to different types of pumps (submersible, vertical turbine, centrifugal…etc.), handling equipment, compressors, blowers, valves and controllers…etc
Responsible for monitoring piping construction and fabrication activities ensuring their compliance with project requirements, and following all documentations and method statement required for piping hydrostatic tests. Witnessing all field tests including pipe flushing, hydrostatic test and performance tests for all piping system and all mechanical systems.
