communication between the Laboratory and the rest of the hospital
Achievements:
• Successful operation and accreditation of the Microbiology Department in the Cleveland
Clinic Abu Dhabi Laboratory
• Created the Microbiology Special Interest Group (SIG) for the UAE, a meeting that
brought microbiologists together from across the UAE
• Increased the revenue for the laboratory by expanding the test menu to include Parasitology
screening
• Streamlined laboratory processes ensuring faster and more efficient turn-around times
