The training was concerned in design and enforcement of Columns, Slabs, stairs and footings.
training was very important because it was the time to obtain much knowledge about field, so many concepts which were taught in the classes have been implemented.
The training in the office started with review of design, analysis and reinforcement detailing of the structural members and simple information about soil test.
Then I started to read the project plans, began from foundation to the above stories and trained how to take details from it and tie it with other plans .
The first step in the training was learning to read an architectural plans and use this information in our work as a civil engineers, and draw and detail civil plan on an AutoCAD program.
The second step in the training was learning how to calculate the loads on the structural members like: slabs, beams, columns and footings based on Jordanian loads and forces code, after this the engineer reviewed with me the basic design steps for all structural members by the hand, in my training I learned many software's like Prokon and AutoCAD.
In other hand we learned the detailing of reinforcement of the structural members upon Steel Reinforcement Detailing manual for building.
