• Responsible for overall finance function of the company
• Managing Finance Team including coordination with various departments across the organization to meet the common goals
• Responsible for accounting of the company for preparation of Financial Statements through closure in ERP system and Financial Reporting in prescribed format. Liasioning with Internal and External auditors for timely audit of the entity.
• Managing payables and ensuring appropriate controls for the same including timely payments and adequate reconciliations
• Managing receivables of the company, ensuring credit controls and adherence to corporate policies
• Managing funds of the company in an efficient manner including coordination with the banks to avail financing facilities for short terms and long term
• MIS reporting to the management on a periodic basis including analysis of the same in terms of variances against budgets. Providing information to management as and when requested to aid in decision making.
• Development of an overall effective system including drafting and designing the process flow; ensuring internal control throughout the organization
• Management Accounting covering aspects such as budget preparation, budget verses actual comparison for the ongoing projects, preparation of costing sheet for products and feasibility study of capital expenditures
• Responsible for providing economic analysis on all matters of potential financial impact for the business particularly in costing, customer and product line evaluation
• Ensuring efficient inventory controls including audits at various points of time. Reviewing buying decision in terms of funds and optimum purchase points including negotiation and finalization of commercial aspects such as price and pay term
Worked for the construction unit of the Group - ALCAT Contracting Company. Area of functioning included:-
•Managing a team of accountants and reviewing the financial activities of the company
•Responsible for book-keeping and preparation of Financial Statements
•Reviewing the payables and ensuring appropriate controls for the same
•Ensuring the timely preparation of payroll, leave salary and final settlements and coordinating with the accounts team
•Managing the Petty Cash including allocation of floats to different sites and departments and accountability of the same from the petty cashiers
•Accounting for the receivables of the company, complying with IFRS related to the construction companies
•MIS reporting to the management on a periodic basis

Financial Reporting from 24th
for implementation of ERP system in the company. Worked on study of the process, defining and testing solutions, creation of masters and providing pre and post implementation support in a successful ERP implementation
•Worked for Supply Chain department for building process, setting up a new department of Finished Goods warehouse, reducing losses and increased savings by repacking of the damaged products
