Assistant Electrical Engineer
- Prepares isometric drawings, electrical layouts, diagrams & schematics of electrical systems and components
- Directs team personnel and performs, installation of insulation, metal covering and insulating blankets, support, cable trays, conduit, panel setting, transformer, etc.
- Assigned to do As-Built drawings based on actual works carried out at site
- Inspects completed installations and observe operations, to ensure compliance with operational and safety requirements
- Prepares safety guidelines and installation procedures for Technicians to follow
- Assists in monitoring and troubleshooting of:
Power & lighting
Breakers
Generator/Transformer
Batteries (UPS)
Motor Control
Fire Detection & Alarm System
- Issues and arranges appropriate equipment and personnel access permits
- Informs incoming shift personnel and other persons concerned of matters requiring attention and the operating status of plant equipment

- Fully responsible for the full spectrum of electrical services and maintenance works of electrical facilities, generators and other store facilities, ensuring operational efficiency at all times
- Ensures that the work is carried out in accordance with the Engineering Department’s requirements and standards, policies and standard operating procedures of the company
- Liaises with contractors and tenants on maintenance works
- Follows up on actions taken for these works’ orders, tenants’ complaints and requests
- Conducts regular inspection, safety audits etc., as required
- Ensures that all the technical reports, files and records are complied accurately and promptly and submitted to the management, as required

- Calibrates and maintains electrical instruments and testing equipment
- Checks of voltage and machine rewinding
- Creates on-time report for fault repair status and general machineries conditions
- Ensures the safety of the workplace
- Reports to the assigned supervisor in case of the discrepancies in safety measures or calibration procedures
