The Jumeirah Beach Hotel - La Veranda - Outlet Manager
• The role involved excellent organization and training of colleagues
• Maintain a constant check as per standard of service provided for our clients
• Regular meeting with chef in charged and to direct report assistant food and beverage manager to ensure objectives are meet
• Ensuring that forecasted revenue is monitored and achieved
• Menu Engineering is use for menu strategy
• Planning on marketing strategy such us promotions and special events to achieved targets
• Control of expenses is monitored
• Maintenance of the restaurant and cleanliness is observed at all times
• Maintain a highly motivated team and increased productivity
• Responsible for the food and beverage service operation of the restaurant and thus extend on the beach and family pool that accommodate 130 lounges on each area responsible for the butler service
• Established contact with guest and build up rapport to maintain their loyalty within the company
• Responsible for Profit & loss explanation
• Responsible for the yearly budgeting and forecasting
The role involved organising and training employees from multi-cultural backgrounds. Maintain a constant check on their level of performance and build up a good team spirit and highly motivated colleagues to ensure that daily operational task runs smoothly with high productivity achievement. Responsibility includes scheduling a 24-hour department. Maintain tight control on the expenses, regular meeting with the department chef for further improvement as per guest feedback. It is essential that the smooth flow of delivering room service amenities are met on the standard time and perform a constant spot check to monitor that the set standard requirement are maintained.
A very challenging area to work with a wide beach area that could accommodate 200 lounges at the pool and 600 lounges at the beach front and a seating of 60 on the terrace.
