1. Working as System Administrator at NEXtCARE, Deira, Dubai. (Feb 2008 till date)
NEXtCARE is a leading TPA in the Health Insurance Sector. My Responsibilities include configuring, maintaining and administering of Windows and Linux servers, creating Active Directory, DHCP, DNS, IIS and other associated tasks like creating users, groups, and implementing various group Policies etc. Configured and implemented Secondary Domain Controller, File servers, Print servers, Exchange server, Backup server, Manageengine Service desk plus IT Helpdesk server, Symantec Endpoint Protection Antivirus servers, WSUS server, SFTP server using Filezilla, TMG server and other application servers. Responsible for installing and maintaining all the printers, Scanners, Fax machines, Biometric attendance machines, Wireless Access Points etc. My responsibilities also include taking backups, testing the backups at regular intervals and restoring the backups using Symantec BackupExec, Symantec System Recovery, Symantec Desktop/Laptop backup and Windows NT backup. Configured and implemented Virtual servers using Hyper-V and N-Computing virtual desktops. Working experience on Web servers, SAN storage servers, SharePoint server, Nortel Callpilot Automated Fax management server, Audiolog Call recording server, ISA server, Symantec Enterprise Vault mail archiving server, Blackberry Enterprise Server, Cloud computing, Peachtree Accounting server, MS Dynamics GP etc. My responsibilities also include configuring, maintaining and troubleshooting Cisco Routers, Switches, Cisco ASA Firewall, Nortel Core Switch etc. Configured VPN using Cisco 871 SEC-K9 router and RRAS server. Responsible for creating VLans, Nating of public IP's etc. also responsible for managing Leased line, PRI lines and ADSL lines.
2.Worked as IT Engineer at IndiaOptions, Kerala, India. (May 2005-2007)
IndiaOptions is a computer training institute which provides training for CCNA, CCNP, CCIE, MCSE, RedHat Linux, DotNet certifications. My responsibilities include Installation, and Maintenance of Server/ Workstations under Windows and Linux. Fault tolerance and Optimization of server and network resources. Creating Active directory users, groups, group policies, Raid configurations etc. It also includes configuring network devices like routers and access points, providing security to the network using Pix Firewall, antivirus patch updation, Periodical backups etc. My responsibility also include configuring Linux server, which include setting FTP, Telnet, DNS, DHCP, SSH, creating users, disk quota's etc using various RPM's.
3.Worked as ITSupport Officer at N.C.P.L (Narmada Chemateur Petrochemicals Limited) Bharuch, Gujarat, India (March 2002 - Feb 2005)
NCPL is a petrochemical company manufacturing various chemicals like Trinitrotoluene, Nitrobenzene, Hcl etc.
My responsibilities at NCPL includes Providing user support, Hardware troubleshooting, Various software installation, upgrading the systems according to requirements. Installation and troubleshooting of all Network and Local Printers. It also includes managing files and databases and taking backups.
