• Initiated blood lead testing for all workers stripping lead-based paint, coordinating with WorkSafe, Labtests, ADHB, an Occupational physician. Ongoing blood levels notably decreasing over time with controls, training and creating an improvement plan with more stringent future audits and processes in place. This ensures compliance with CCC (Consult, cooperate and Coordinate)
• Maintaining healthy rapport with the team. identifying strengths and weaknesses of team members, setting them up with tasks according to their strengths to succeed and upskilling staff as appropriate.
• Overseeing subcontractors - as per individual SLAs (Service Level Agreement), making recommendations where required and dealing directly with Kainga Ora on their behalf
• Garnering better engagement from officers by creating a requirement for site visits by the board and CEO as reflected in the bianuual report
