• Typing of Histo-Cyto reports & encoding Clinical Laboratory results using ACCPAC-SAGE software.
• Responsible for making correspondence and filing of all laboratory documents.
• Manages all send out special laboratory investigations that are not available in the Hospital Lab. to other laboratories in and outside the country.
• Responsible for checking and reviewing all invoices from suppliers and other invoices related to laboratory and keep a copy of it before sending to accounting department.
• Checks and reviews insurance papers with no laboratory samples for cancellation of invoice.
• Patients assistance
• Responsible for opening and giving file numbers to new patients.
• Communicate with the Corporate Services Department (CSD) for some permission if the treatment is to be given to some patients from companies or insurance with above the limit procedures.
• Taking all phone calls and transfer it to designated doctors and attending other patient’s inquiries.
• Collection of payments of the patients and submit to accounts department at the end of duty for remittance.
• Typing Medical Certificates that will be given to the patients
• Responsible for the withdrawal of daily material supplies for the shift such as different types ICs, holo, polarizers, etc.
• Responsible for the operation of the autoclave machines.
• Treat the patients commonly with neuromusculoskeletal illnesses by using PT modalities (hot & cold), exercises, stretching, massage etc.
• Train the patients in achieving the fullest functional capability in Activities of Daily Living as to bed mobility, transfers, ambulation, and self care even with residual impairments or deformities.
• Teach patients the proper body mechanics and proper energy expenditures.
• Strengthen the patients by teaching the right exercise that fits him.
• Motivate the patients for faster recovery and monitoring the patient’s progress as to psychological and physical means.
• Rejects the LCD according to classification as to missing rows, missing columns, black/white spots, short, no display, etc.
• Segregate LCD glasses according to unit, shape, size
• Fill up the process traveler’s form after testing a lot of LCD glass to recognize the number of glasses tested good for the next procedure.
• Treat the patients commonly with neuromusculoskeletal illnesses by using PT modalities (hot & cold), exercises, stretching, massage etc.
