Provide IT related support at the customs floors or any other sections as directed e.g. end user support, SQL database servers, Hardware support, MS Windows servers, printer servers, MS Exchange servers or Network issues etc.
• Manage the installation of new versions of the systems and troubleshoot ad-hoc user problems in its functioning.
• Assist with the maintenance of the office database
• Manage the office multi-user computer network as well as data and telecommunication facilities and assist in the implementation and enforcement of network security, regular monitoring of network and firewall logs and taking remedial measures to ensure only authorized users/devices get access to resources.
• Assist in managing specific computer hardware and software, as well as coordinate its introduction into the office, and manage its maintenance.
• Assist to maintain and to manage ICT infrastructure systems, including Installation, configure, and maintain personal computers, file servers, Ethernet and voice networks, network cabling, other related equipment and systems.
• Regularly review and evaluate office and users equipment and recommend replacement.
• Create and maintain ICT configuration database for both hardware and software, ensuring all PC’s and laptops are kept up-to-date with required Anti-Virus application and relevant patches are updated.
• Provide technical guidance and support to end users, maintenance of network & systems, coordinate implementation of new system, also assisting in the implementation and enforcement of network security, regular monitoring of network and firewall logs and taking remedial measures to ensure only authorized users/devices get access to resources.
• Assist in the update of the IT Business Continuity Plan, monitoring and maintenance of the Data replication to DR.
• Any other Network related issues.

Having been with Efficaxx Support Consultancy who Support an International company known as Thomson Reuters ltd. We support all Banks’ dealing Software and dealing equipment in Kenya, Tanzania Uganda, Rwanda Burundi & Malawi as well as the WNE equipment and the Radio & TV department.

 Managing the Reuters Training Centre for Banks’s Dealers.
 Maintenance, Installation, Upgrade & Repair of the Banks’s dealing system.
 Ensuring proper utilization of all materials & Machines provided for use at the Reuters Training Centre.
 Managing the Inventory, DBASE backup bank in the Resource Centre.
 General IT support to all our clients (Banks).
