As the Avsec Duty Manager of the BIAP AVSEC Team, reporting to the Terminal Security Manager working at the BIAP with the following responsibilities:
• To manage and oversee all aspects of landside and airside security in accordance with the ICAA ASP/ NCASP.
• To manage and oversee all aspects of landside and airside security in accordance with ICAO Annex 14 and 17 and ICAA. Manage the searching of passengers, crew and airport personnel to recognized international standards as described in supporting documentation ICAO 8973. This will be achieved through WTMD, physical and X-Ray screening within the terminal areas.
• To ensure that the escalation process is implemented immediately and effectively when required.
• To ensure that all control and monitor security system as at BIAP are being implemented effectively.
• To provide a security service to BIAP by safeguarding their staff, contractors, property and assets. To ensure that the integrity of the airside/landside barrier is maintained on behalf of BIAP.
• Deliver G4S Standards of Excellence and develop a positive working relationship with Government Agencies, ICAA staff and BIAP stakeholders.
• Deliver G4S standards of Excellence and develop a positive working relationship with all Airlines flying into Baghdad International Airport.
• Ensure that the ICAA/ICAO and G4S Security Standards are met and delivered to the highest Customer Service Standards achievable.
• Training, couching and mentoring of staff on daily basis ensuring G4S remains compliant with ICAO SARPs.
• Work closely with Avsec Leadership, site leaders and support group \{e.g., HR, LP, Safety\} to ensure on-going success for Air security initiatives.
• Ensure that Health and Safety Standards are implemented and report issues
• Responsible for the well-being of 400 local national staff.
