I discharge my duties as an Staff Officer in Military Secretariat Branch in Sri Lanka Army. My scope of duties will be on career progression of Officers in the Army and i handle a major barrier for the selection of competent officers for the higher ranks at the junior level.
I too have the field experiences as a Commanding Officer, Company Commander and platoon Commander in Battalions. Further, I also performed as an Officer Instructor in military academy, Staff Officer in Command and Staff college and General Staff Officer in field Formation in my military career. i also one of the Officer who is free from violation of discipline and thereby appreciated with a special medal.
