Currently employed at SUN / GOLD News as an English News presenter; gaining exposure as a news journalist, building relations with other media organizations, political personalities and business personnel.
The primary role and responsibilities in this position comprise local implementation activities for branding, communications and public relations. Branding experience mainly includes coordination with global PwC on territory implementation strategies and maintenance of the local brand information database. The work related to communications and public relations are carried out through building client and media relations under the guidance of the global firm. Also managing events for clients, all staff and Corporate Social Responsibility activities of the firm is a key role assigned to me under the afore stated position. I report directly to the Markets Leader of PwC.
Acting as a confidential secretary under the supervision and direction of the Markets Leader, assisting on a variety of administrative matters relating to the communication department. Performing a variety of support duties which requires proficiency in typing, record keeping, communication and high degree of confidentiality. Furthermore, preparation of external communications for clients and handling correspondence pertaining to internal communication polices and procedure for branding and event management is a key task assigned to me as a secretary.
Was employed as an Executive Secretary to the Chief Executive Officer overlooking administrative duties under the supervision and direction of the Chief Executive Officer of DFCC Stockbrokers. Performed a variety of duties which required organizing skills, typing, record keeping and communications skills with good client relations and a higher degree of confidentiality. Since all HR related activities came under the preview of the CEO, I was assigned to carryout human resources functions such as recruitment, emoluments and maintenance of employee personal files. As the secretary to the CEO, scheduling meetings, travel and appointments for the CEO and directors, preparation of itineraries and make reservations as necessary, keep the CEO informed of meetings scheduled and report deadlines and performing other related duties were key tasks assigned to me under the afore stated post.
