ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
•Own the design from an understanding and applying a basic concept to layout, high level design, detailing and assembly of all solar combiner box products.
•Supporting of design related activities with Manufacturing Team and data management team.
•Develops mechanical and electromechanical products by studying customer requirements such as Terminal blocks, holders, monitoring units with mechanical arrangements.
•Calculating the bus bar for all as per IEC standard and good understanding of electrical wire schematics/circuits with 2d line diagram.
•Selection of dc Switches and cables as per Applied Fuse Standards with Supporting electrical team.
•Design assemblies from system layout and spatial elements.
•Designing of custom sheet metal Enclosure and Design of Sheet metal brackets for Harness as per Customer Requirement.
•Handled key customers such as L&T, Sun Edison, Mahindra Responsible for identifying requirements to meet the project delivery schedules and in determining solutions, if any.
•Creating a BOM structured in SAP and ensuring Engineering change request.
•Determining Tasks and Deadlines and work with team to completed them on . .
•Develop the 3-4 vendors for each material.
•Release final documents 3d Model, 2D Drawing, SAP and Product Data Management and Supporting of mass Production and Monitoring.

•Development of Die casting manufacturing components.
•Designed and developed Automobile parts in aluminum casting.
•Prepared 3D Solid Works parts and drawings by conversion process Meeting.
•Part modeling, determination of parting line and applying draft without affecting the drawing specifications for releasing the casting from die half’s.
•Runner, gate design and deciding the suitable die casting machine as per the deriving the standard calculations.
•Die splitting, core and cavity separation, determination of cover die end ejector die, core pins, ejection pins, loose pieces and wall thick consideration.
•Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerance as per ISO Standards.
•Electrode designing and issuing sparking layouts.
•Preparation of layout drawings for the die and housing for manufacturing.
•Redesign of the maintenance die for the die corrective action.
•Understanding of the casting & machining drawings.
•2D to 3D model conversion
•Model inspection by comparing the model 2D drawing with the casting drawing and preparation of model inspection report.
