PROJECT SUMMARY: Current Project ( QATAR SHELL GTL) Inspection of Clad break in nozzles at a temperature of 120 to 200 degrees using ultrasonic inspection

Project Title: In Service inspection of clad break and all the conventional NDT Methods like UT, MT, PT, VT, Hardness, Ferrite, Boroscocoty etc.
Environnement: Rass Laffan Industrial city, Qatar
Client: QATAR SHELL PEARL GTL.

ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Performing High temperature (120 to 200 degrees) UT in SHELL GTL on various equipments.
• Took part in developing new type of wedges for high temperature which can withstand up to 200 degree.
• Worked as phased array ultrasonic inspection on nozzles at high temperatures as an assistant PAUT inspector.
• Inspection of nozzles in pressure vessels, columns, vessels etc.,
• Handling equipments like USM GO, Sona Test for UT inspection and Omniscan MX and Omniscan MX2 in PAUT to identify defects.
• Preparing equipment calibrations according to standards.
• Evaluating test results with due care and comparing them with acceptance standards.
• Review Inspection & test plans in accordance with International codes and Client Specification
• Communication with the Clients to fulfill the mutual needs. Study of the mechanical drawings, understanding and implementation of those drawings.
• Checking all our completed works in our field as per specification of drawings.
• Collecting all details regarding daily work states from each section and submitting to the department head.
• Attending meeting with the Engineers for trouble shooting if required.
• Conducting all types of NDT works according to a written procedure. Preparing Inspection Reports and submitting to QA - Manager.

PROJECT SUMMARY: ORYX GTL (SHUTDOWN) Inspection of Reactors internal and external UT, MT, PT as an IRATA Level I inspector.

Project Title: Inspection of Reactor Internals.
Environnement: Rass Laffan Industrial city, Qatar.
Client: ORYX GTL.

ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Performing PT, MT, UT in reactors internal and externals as IRATA Level I Inspector..
• Review Inspection & test plans in accordance with International codes and Client Specification
• Communication with the Clients to fulfill the mutual needs. Study of the mechanical drawings, understanding and implementation of those drawings.
• Checking all our completed works in our field as per specification of drawings.
• Collecting all details regarding daily work states from each section and submitting to the department head.
• Attending meeting with the Engineers for trouble shooting if required.

NDT SKILLS:
• Have the ability to carry on of the conventional NDT methods like UT, MT, PT, VT, Hardness testing, with good proven results.
• I have skills in doing various types of thickness measurement jobs according to isometric drawing of pipe lines in different plants.
• Have good skill in handling various types of ultrasonic flaw detector like, USM GO, GE USM 35 SONATEST D10, 20 and Omniscan MX.
• Worked in Pressure Vessel, Tank, Sphere, and Pressure pipe lines,
• Good knowledge of codes and standards as per ASME Sections V and VIII.
• Skilled to work under a pressure bound working condition with time dead line.
• Ability to perform jobs independently.
