1.Assisting the chief resident engineer in coordinating and managing all aspects of the underground station construction work. This includes supervision of Diaphragm wall by using trench cutter, Deep excavations, waterproofing, strut installation and others etc.
2.Ensures that construction work meets the required quality standards and complies with relevant codes, regulations, and specifications.
3.Conduct regular site inspections to assess construction progress, identify any issues or discrepancies and verifying compliance with project plan and specifications.
4.Maintaining accurate and up to date records of project activities, including daily reports, material submittals, RFIs and other relevant documentation.
5.Attending project meetings with key stakeholders and assisting in the resolution of technical issues and conflicts.
6.Promote and enforce strict adherence to health and safety guidelines at the construction site to ensure a safe working environment for all personnel.
7.Verify and validate the monthly IPC submitted by the main contractor.
8.Issuing of Quality Surveillance reports (QSR) and Non-Conformation reports (NCR) to the contractors.

• Assisting the Chief Resident Engineer in coordinating and managing all aspects
of underground station construction, including planning and monitoring project
progress to ensure timely completion.
• Overseeing the construction of the diaphragm wall in Grade 1 rock using Sany
SDC 120, XCMG XTC 120, and BC-40 trench cutters.
• Monitoring the site progress as per DWP (Detailed Work Program) and
maintains all the delay records.
• Oversee and manage the day-to-day construction activities of underground
station, ensuring that all work is completed according to design specifications,
safety standards, and project timelines.
• Coordinate and collaborate with main contractors, subcontractors, and design
teams to ensure efficient execution of the project and resolve any technical
issues that may arise.
• Ensure compliance with local regulations, international standards, and safety
requirements throughout the construction of the underground station.
• Perform regular site inspections and quality control checks to verify that
construction works are being carried out as per the contract documents and
quality standards.
• Supervise all aspects of underground station construction works (Utility and
Traffic Diversion, Diaphragm wall, Slab excavation etc.)
• Monitor the overall progress of construction and ensure that any delays,
disruptions, or issues are addressed and mitigated in a timely manner.
• Review and approve construction method statements, work plans, and
technical submittals related to the underground station.
• Maintain detailed records of site activities, including progress reports, site
diaries, incident reports, RFIs/NCRs and meeting minutes for submission to the
client.
• Verifying and validating the monthly Interim Payment Certificate (IPC)
submitted by the main contractor

• Evaluate the Physical conditions of the Civil Structures as recommended in BD63/17 & Bridge Condition Indicators (BCI)
and submit the detailed report.
• Generate PM Work order for all the planned inspections (General and Principal Inspections) and CM Work order for the
civil defects in MMS (Maximo).
• Plan, schedule and conducts General Inspection/Principal inspection of all the Civil Structures of Metro and Tramway as
per the Asset Maintenance plan (AMP).
• Coordinating with client (Qatar rail) and D&B Contractors for the timely rectification of the civil defects (Corrective
Maintenance) to ensure no impact to the railway operations.
• Leading and supervising a team of civil inspectors for the successful completion of the General/Principal inspection on
time to achieve the KPI and submit the detailed report to the client.
• Inspection of Viaduct Bearings (Elastomeric and Pot Bearings) as per the recommendation in O&M Manual and submit
the detailed report to client.
• Performing asset condition survey as per the maintenance plan to ensure the availability and reliability of asset at all
time.
• Coordinate with procurement team for the tools, materials, and equipment to undertake the corrective maintenance
work on time.
• Evaluate the technical proposal submitted by the sub-contractor.
