• Leading Finance & Accounting team and reporting directly to CFO.
• Migration of accounting function from Malta to UAE for Meeting Point LLC
• VAT & Corporate Tax Implementation done successfully with regular monthly filing of VAT returns on time.
• Monthly VAT reconciliation along with supporting documentation maintained
• Trained junior accountants to maintain adequate records for receivables and payables. Frequently tested internal controls to have a count on them
• Business Performance Analysis and Advisory through introduction of monthly Management reports, budgeting, forecasting, cost reduction, risk mitigation, controls and growing profitability/ investments.
• Shared weekly Business Performance PPT to Commercial Director
• Weekly Liquidity Analysis report for the management.
• Supplier risk assessment for Credit approval.
• Leading a team of 5 people and giving necessary approvals for business transactions.
• With Meeting Points Booking Management System being fully automated, responsible for performing quality checks on the monthly reservation reports received.
• Responsible for performing Balance Sheet Reconciliation to avoid any sort off financial risk on the P&L.
• Work closely with the Business and Commercial Sales Leaders, Operation team to track monthly performance.
• Responsible for Yearly Internal & External Audits.

• Lead a Finance, Accounts and Procurement team of 8 to 10 members. Reporting to the Board of Directors and part of the Core Management Team for Strategic Planning, Financial Reporting and Advisory.
• Responsible for Monthly Reporting, Budgeting, Cash-flow planning, Working Capital Management and Performance Reports of the hotel submitted to the Chairman.

• Responsible for Product and Services research, Inventory management, Procurement process optimization, RFP management, Supplier evaluation and selection Risk and compliance management, Contract negotiation, Data analysis and ROI analysis.
• This led to reducing costs, improving outcomes, identifying strategic partnerships and creating more business opportunities.
• Worked on fixing Pricing for the Product at the hotel with management approval.
