 Oversee and coordinate the civil design aspects of the project including collaborating
with structural engineers and other professionals.
 Execute design and drafting activities for different types of projects (Concept, FEED,
Study and Detailed Engineering).
 Prepare Civil and Structural related design deliverables using MS-Office, AutoCAD &
Navisworks.
 Attend design review meetings (3D model review, plot plan review and others).
 Accept delegated responsibility for designated tasks and complete within the required
schedule with high quality.
 Ensure that structural designs meet safety codes and industry standards.

 Preparing Presentation Drawings in AutoCAD.
 Analyze rough sketches and interpreted specifications to develop 2D drafts.
 Create technical drawings based on given specifications and calculations.
 Coordinated with construction team to develop new CAD drafts.
 Recommended design changes to existing construction plans.
 Incorporate and update engineer’s comments, field changes and prepare as built
drawings or documents.
 Carry out site visits, if required and requested, in order to take or records site
information and prepare field sketched to facilitate accuracy in detailed design.

 Sketch and conceptualize design.
 Make at least 2 schemes using Autocad.
 Present 2-3 schemes of design, revise if needed.
 Prepare detailed document for municipal submission.
 Publishing Drawings to DWF format for Online Submission.

 The responsibilities include updating of as built drawings as per markup given by
surveyors and following the drafting standards and specifications for civil and structural
details.
 Preparation of structure & foundation drawings of pipe supports, Pipe racks, Shelters,
steel buildings & platform structures.
 Foundation detail drawings for tanks, vertical & horizontal vessels supporting structures,
culverts.
 Detailing of underground structures Sump, trenches, Manhole, Valve pits, drain pits.
 Foundation plot plan & road layout drawings.
 Structure shop fabrication drawings.
 Steel & concrete Structure detailing.

 Create drawings and specifications are on-site as needed.
 Create 2D and 3D drawings using AutoCAD software.
 Make presentations of designs with clients.
 Draw plans for construction projects.
 Create architectural designs.

 Work in a team of five on a residential building project.
 Drafting of building designs using AutoCAD.
