Responsibilities: As a waiter I am responsible for providing a friendly, courteous and efficient service to the guests while maintaining the cleanliness and orderliness of his station.
• Sets the tables as per the established standard.
• Checks the reservation book and lays the cover as per the number of person reserved.
• Maintain the side gueridon as per the established standard.
• Removes used items from the side stations to the dish washing area.
• Seating the guests at their tables by pulling chairs and helping guests to be seated, and open the napkins to each guests lap.
• Takes the Aperitif order as soon as the guests are seated.
• Maintains the cleanliness of the guests table and ensures the constant changing of ashtrays, crumbing down and clearing the empty glass and bottles etc.
• Clear and resets the table as soon as the guest leave the restaurant.
• Collects the food and beverage requisitions from the F&B store and operational supplies from General store.
• Maintains a note book to write new items and explanations of different dishes.
• Under went 4 months training at Orange County Luxury Resorts, Coorg, India in Food & Beverage Service department
• Attended various Out Door Catering functions as part of curriculam
• Bachelor of Hotel Management from Sarosh Institute of Hotel Administration under Mangalore University, India (2006-2010) SIGNIFICANT ACHIVEMENTS: • Employee of the month award, in service section for January, 2011 at Udaya Samudra Luxury Beach Hotel (UDS), Kovalam Trivandrum • Appreciation letter from restaurant manager (UDS, Kovalam) for handling the peak hour orders with utmost efficiency.
