 Responsible for the development& implementation of HSE Plans and overall HSE aspects ofthe project and implementing HSE Management System of the Company.
 Assist in preparing the Risk assessment, Safe Working Procedures, Rigging / lifting plans, Emergency evacuation / Journey management procedures and review the same.
 Coordinate with third party agencies to arrange specific trainings and equipment inspection.
 Monitoring the Labor Camps, site First Aid facilities, site welfare facilities are intact.
 Interact with Client representatives and subcontractors for overall HSEMS implementation.
 Ensuring all legal requirements and internationally recognized SWP is in place and maintained
 Supervision of the placement of signage and proper safety device i.e. barricades, traffic cones.
 HSE induction training / Work specific / In house safety training as per training matrix
 Prepare MSDS register for all hazardous materials and train personnel for COSHH.
 Conduct emergency response drills, medical drill, fire drill and maintain records.
 Ensure all lifting gears, mobile plants and other vehicles possess valid legal / test certificates
 Prepare and send weekly and monthly HSE statistics report to HSE Manager for analysis
 Co-ordinate with Project Manager, Main Contractor and other Sub Contractors for scheduling Safety meetings and prepare the minutes of meetings and follow up on actions decided
 Responsible for promoting HSE culture on site by Incentives, STOP Card, daily toolbox talks etc
 Liaison with the site Storekeeper for HSE tools / equipment and initiate purchase request as required
 Leads in performing incident/accident investigation and suggesting remedial measures incidents
 Cooperating and coordinating with the Company/EPC / EAD (Environment Agency Abu Dhabi) /ADMA /ISO 14001:2004, OHSAS 18001:2007 & ISO 9001:2008 safety audit.
 Conduct scheduled inspections and HSE audits of all work areas and advise project manager /site manager / site engineers /supervisors on unsatisfactory conditions or practice observed

1. Prepare, implement, monitor and review the HSE plan at the project.
2. Prepare Risk assessment and job safety analysis for all activities in the civil and mechanical construction site
3. Developed HSE procedures for Hot work, cold work, radiography, excavation, confined space and work at height
4. Ensures strict adherence to Work Permit Procedures.
5. To give HSE induction training to all new workers/ staffs, visitors and maintain the record.
6. Oversees the HSE training to ensure all workers are aware of incident prevention and damage control.
7. Leads in performing incident/accident investigation and suggesting remedial measures incidents and submit reports to Project Manager
8. Conducts daily tool box talk along with supervisor.
9. Support the project manager to ensure the effective delivery of the project, within the required health, safety and quality requirements.
10. Monitor implementation of HSE standards by all subcontractors at site.
11. Collaborate with Project management team and frontline supervision in promoting environmental and health and safety concerns.
12. To make aware the workers about fire protection, factory safety requirement and Housekeeping
13. Coordinate for administration of “Safety Award/ Incentive” scheme
14. Co-ordinate with Project Manager, Main Contractor and other Sub Contractors for scheduling Safety meetings, and prepare the minutes of meetings and follow up on actions decided.
15. Initiate Job Bulletins concerning safety issues
16. Conducting monthly Safety audits
17. To identify the needs of safety signs and posters which are needed at the worksite
18. Ensure all portable electrical equipments were inspected each month.
19. Ensures relevant personnel are aware of risk assessment and identification procedures.
20. Prepare monthly HSE statistics reports, analyze and initiate corrective and preventive measures and maintain records. appropriate test certificates
