Production Planning
• Receiving market plans and schedule value stream production on monthly basis and coordinating with the separate depts., along with the planning of changeovers sequence, PM activities, manpower ordering and material ordering through PPM scheduling with related transactions in SAP.
• Representing the value stream in planning activities and raw material trials, which includes coordination of the line trials and LTR activities across the value stream.
• Maintaining and owning the planning systems (PLS & PPM) for the value stream.
Cost Control & reporting
• Supporting in the gap analysis for the direct MCC (manpower and consumables) & NQC, & execution of the action plan & future cost phasing accordingly NQC %, Manpower & consumables budget adherence
• Tracking and reporting of NQC actions and work streams for the value streams. Alert and escalate whenever a risk appears in the planned vs. Actual NQCs.
• Tracking ordering of consumables through E-Buy system for the value stream and tracking of budget while highlighting over/under consumptions.
• Carrying out 100% inventory stock count in collaboration with logistics for the value stream.
Contractor Management
• Ordering and Tracking of Manpower on daily basis ensuring zero impact on production, and Tracking of labour budget. Track and report any deviations from the approved cost. Ensure compliance of contract terms. Track the contractors’ skills relevance to the lines & make sure that all contractors are validated on Mars Safety & QFS standards
ROLE - PLANNING
Reporting to the Head - Supply Chain.
Oversee entire Planning includes Demand, Forecasting, Materials, Production & Despatch based on the sales demand & ensuring service efficiency at maximum level.
Forecasting of material planning (RM & PM) for the prime SKU’s and demand planning for the sales demand for over 200 SKU’s
Preparation of production plan based on the plant feasibility for executing the orders in order to meet the sales demand as well as factory efficiency (both line & labour efficiency).
Converting customer wise orders into product wise & circulating production schedules of all SKU for along with their shelf life details & necessary information required for the customers.
Coordinate with various departments (factory, logistics, sales, quality, stores, costing and New Product Development) to ensure proper execution of planning.
Follow-up with purchase department regarding the availability and delivery of materials to ensure that the production is as per plan.
Effective Inventory control of RM & PM in terms of maintaining health card to guide purchase team to ensure the inventory norms.
Rollout of new SKU’s by coordinating with NPD team and rationalization of SKU’s.
Preparation of MIS reports of sales variance for all region, supply chain service level, Inventory Health card, despatch planning.
Accountable for providing purchase requisition for all packing materials (for more than 500 packaging materials) & few of raw materials.
Facilitating R&D, New Product Development team in terms of coordination for trials, new packaging developments.
Key Accomplishments:
Reduction of PM Inventory by 1 Million AED (25% reduction) & RM Inventory by 1.94 Million AED (27.5% reduction).
Implementation of ideal production cycle in the production planning through lean manufacturing techniques to reduce idle time in factory and savings in the labour cost by 120000 AED /year
Savings in salvage of non-moving packing materials
Review of RM, PM inventory on monthly basis to maintain the safety stock for materials in order to plan the production at any time.
Maintaining the supply chain service level of 99% throughout all the year.
Reduction of change over by 20% to bring up the savings in labour about 70000 AED/year.
Formation & Implementation of MIS reports related to service level, Despatch planning, inventory control, Sales variance.

ROLE - FACTORY COST CONTROL
Analysing the Factory MIS to improve the factory efficiency & controlling cost of production by monitoring material & labour.
Consolidating the activities & monitoring performances of all production officers.
Implementing & fostering continuous improvement initiatives in the factory to enhance cost effectiveness in the process.
Minimizing performance bottlenecks for high productivity with optimum utilisation of manpower, material and machineries.
Consolidating the factory MIS of daily & monthly production reports, Wastage Reports, CVR, Line efficiency, LPFW report, Plant Utilization Report& Factory Performance report on weekly & monthly basis.
Analysing for material & labour variance, downtime & wastage of all the lines & implementing corrective actions wherever required.
Review meeting with the line officers on monthly basis.
Analysing manufacturing cost & implementing corrective actions to reduce it.
Assisting Factory Manager in preparation of annual budget proposals (manpower requirements) for the production forecasted.
Planning day-to-day strategies to carry out production to meet monthly production targets.
Preparing Daily Production Report & posting production in SAP on daily basis.
Daily, Weekly & Monthly planning & execution of production orders for smoother production and dispatch plan by coordinating with Logistics Dept.
Assisting production manager in manpower planning for the operations based on the daily production schedules.
Appraising the prevalent production systems/processes, identifying loopholes and undertaking result-oriented measures for correcting them and documenting the same.
Planning & executing production based on the horizontal & vertical type of orders, meeting the quality aspects, specifications of various customers all over the world.

Online monitoring of quality of product & taking corrective actions if any deviation in the production process to meet the quality aspects of the product.

Reconciling FG stocks with despatch dept on daily basis.
Preparing meeting agendas & MOM for weekly Production - Engineering meeting.
Involved in daily sensory evaluation for verification of product quality.
