• Managing a whole team composed of site engineers, tradespersons and maintenance staff in several projects funded by Appeal (Oxfam Fund), European Union (ECHO), Canadian Government (GAC), and Danish Government (Danida). In these projects, I was responsible of 8 villages in North Bekaa where we are supporting the Syrian refugees living in Informal Settlements (ITS’s) with their WASH needs.
• Reviewing and preparing all the assessments, documents, surveying, and mapping needed for 175 ITS’s where we were working in North Bekaa area.
• Designing and installing water and sewage networks, in addition to light, rapid and simple toilets, showers, hand washing and water collection facilities.
• Designing and installing all kinds of grey water systems, septic tanks, septic tanks with ABR and Trickling filters, wet-land systems, and wastewater treatment plants.
• Reviewing and preparing Bill of Quantities (BOQ’s) and tenders for required construction, repair or rehabilitation works.
• Coordinating closely with other team members, specifically Public Health Promotion and Protection teams to ensure integrated and coordinated humanitarian program activities.
• Participating in WaSH field-based meetings with other stakeholders, also coordination and communication with the Ministries, BWE, UNICEF and municipalities.

• Taking part in the communication with Beneficiaries, Landlords, and Municipalities.
• Supervising the construction activity for the WASH components of the program.
• Taking part in the distribution and/or installation of WASH items, namely water tanks, latrines, Septic Tanks, Water and Sewage Networks.
• Identifying the needs for latrines, toilets, bathrooms or water supply and wastewater system rehabilitation or construction.

The project contains 3 Via Ducts, 12 Overpasses and Underpasses including all kinds of Pile Foundations and Structural works, Shoring Systems like Retaining Walls, Sheet Piling, Earth Walls, and also Infrastructures like Pavement works, Asphalt Concreting, Base Courses, Cross-Drainage works, Box Culverts, Water Ditches, Water Networking, New Jersey Barriers and other works related to Civil Engineering.
• Monitoring the performance of the contractor on site, in accordance with the engineering, technical requirements and the conditions of contract.
• Supervising all the necessary laboratory tests like taking and crushing cylinders, making test experiments like Field Density, Sand Equivalent Test, Sieve Analysis, Mix Design of Concrete and others.
• Controlling all steel and concrete works on site in order to have a proper construction.
• Controlling all drainage works like installing pipes and water networks.
