Project Title : Up gradation of primary school \nDonor : JICA \nLocal Partner : Social Policy and Development Center (SPDC) \nYear & Location : 2011, 7 District of Sindh \nPosition : Consultant \nNature : It was the monitoring and evaluation project to investigate the 140 primary schools for the up gradation into middle. The JICA was appealed by Government of Sindh to grant for up gradation of same schools and this study was reporting by field survey that which schools are eligible and which are not.
Project Title : Rapid Assessment: Flood Damage of schools of Govt. of Sindh \nDonor : World Bank \nLocal Partner : Social Policy and Development Center (SPDC) \nYear & Location : 2010, Throughout Sindh \nPosition : Researcher \nNature : The purpose of this study was to report the flood damage in schools of Sindh province. It was the telephonic survey of entire 52000 schools under ownership of Government of Sindh in 23 districts.
Project Title : Rapid situational Assessment of Street Children \nDonor : UNICEF \nLocal Partner : Azad Foundation-Karachi \nYear & Location : 2010, Karachi \nPosition : Consultant \nNature : The purpose of this research was to estimate the numbers of street children in selected town of Karachi, and analysis their activities, needs, priorities, risk patterns, current governmental and nongovernmental activities targeting street children. It was the survey of 500 children.
Project Title: Third Party Validation of School and Teachers Recruitment (Round-II) \nDonor: World Bank \nLocal Partner : Social Policy and Development Center (SPDC) \nYear &Location : 2010, Throughout Sindh \nPosition : Economist cum Districts Team Leader \nNature :The project has been assign to SPDC by World Bank to perform the role of Monitoring and Evaluation of the fund issued to Government of Sindh by World Bank in 12 districts to strengthen the schooling and teacher recruitment. It was survey based research of 500 hundred schools and in-house meetings with district education department.
