As a Senior Field Engineer in Real Time Operation Center at Petrolink International Saudi Arabia, I played a crucial role in overseeing diverse networking and data transmission of wits & witsml data challenges between Aramco Offshore and Onshore rig sites, particularly in relation to networking and Real-Time support for Aramco (Light Industrial Parkway). My responsibilities encompassed critical tasks aimed at ensuring seamless operations and communication between various stakeholders like Sea Drill, Schlumberger, Weatherford. Halliburton, Bakers Hughes, Saipem, Nabors, Arabian Dill and more companies. My responsibility was to fetch Realtime data from above mentioned companies and transfer to Aramco Servers via VSAT and make sure that Real time uninterrupted data transmission between Rig sites and RTOC, RCC and GOC at Aramco Head Office.
Key Responsibilities:
Proficiently managed data and servers on the Rig server, ensuring smooth functioning and accessibility of essential information.
Took charge of transmitting all real-time wits & witsml data from the Rig site to Saudi Aramco servers, ensuring the swift and reliable flow of critical data.
Assumed responsibility for the efficient management of networking infrastructure within the Rig, optimizing real-time data transmission.
Served as a vital communication liaison between officials from different service companies and Saudi Aramco officials, facilitating effective collaboration and coordination.
Skillfully prepared Primary and Backup Laptops for the Rig site, diligently installing updates and registering all essential Petrolink applications, guaranteeing a dependable working environment.
During my tenure, I successfully tackled complex technical challenges and contributed significantly to the smooth operation of real-time data communication in a demanding industrial setting.
