Involved in interpreting performance data and translate this into practical improvements
Attend weekly client/consultant meetings to discuss timeline of project, progress and technical coordination matters
Working in confidence of the company's director and directly reporting to him. Identifying wastage and auditing the facilities regarding energy management methods, process improvement methods and new projects evaluation.
• Got practical knowledge of most operations performed in a thermal power plant e.g. feed water system, boiler operation, turbine operation, cooling tower operation, flue gases exhaust system, transmission grid system
• Operational knowledge and practical knowledge of the complete system of electricity production, transmission and distribution
• Visited thermal power plant, combined-cycle power plant, grid stations, transformer workshop, maintenance workshop and transmission workshop
